Apostle Carmen Barnes is a trailblazing Apostolic voice, affectionately known as "The Fire Starter & Faith Igniter." A devoted wife, mother, preacher, teacher, intercessor, and empowerment coach, she carries a powerful mantle to awaken, equip, and ignite revival in the earth. Raised in Chester, Pennsylvania, Apostle Carmen accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 12. By 16, she was already ministering the Word of God and leading as a Huddle Leader for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) in Kutztown, Pennsylvania.

During a life-changing worship service in Philadelphia, the prophetic anointing on her life was prophetically unveiled. By age 20, she was actively flowing in prophetic ministry and healing, touching lives with tangible encounters of God’s glory. Under the unction of the Holy Spirit, Apostle Barnes has witnessed the miraculous praying for individuals with stage 4 cancer, diabetes, leukemia, high blood pressure, and stroke symptoms, many of whom have received instant, documented healings and praise reports.

Apostle Carmen is also a Naturopathic Doctor and a veteran of the United States Navy, where she served for 11 years with distinction. She is both spiritually and academically equipped, holding a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Master of Science in Psychology and Organizational Sciences, Bachelor of Science in Alternative Medicine, and a Ph.D. in Holistic Health. Her blend of spiritual fire and holistic insight makes her a dynamic voice for this generation.

She is the Senior Leader and Visionary of Kingdom Ignited Ministries International (KIMI), headquartered in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, where she serves alongside her husband, Charles E. Barnes Jr., and their three children. Originally established as Destiny Impact Ministries in Miami, Florida in November 2013, the ministry was later reestablished in Arkansas with a renewed mandate to serve as an Apostolic and Prophetic hub for revival and transformation.

Apostle Carmen travels extensively throughout the United States, Africa, and Europe, releasing the Word of the Lord through preaching, singing, and prophetic ministry. Her global missions work includes outreach in Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Haiti, and the UK. Everywhere she goes, lives are changed by the power of salvation, healing, deliverance, and total freedom.

KIMI is a diverse, family-centered ministry committed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meeting both the spiritual and practical needs of the community. Through prophetic insight and apostolic instruction, Apostle Barnes leads a movement that restores, equips, sends, and thrusts individuals into their God-ordained destiny. She and her family are pillars in the Pine Bluff region, dedicated to seeing the city and surrounding areas revived, restored, and transformed.
